A little hope for the girls of my life...

For the most part, you are bisexual. You have a slight preference for the same gender, but either gender would suit you. If you are sexually inexperienced, it is possible that this will change after you do some experimenting.

Quick Update

So I really shouldn't be up this late...and the mere concept that I am enticed to update my livejournal account is quite rare. Nevertheless, here's a quick recap of everything going on lately.

Little Red Wagon is in full swing, we've have quite a few performances so far and have traveled to NH, VT, MA, & CT and will leave for ME at 5:40 tomorrow morning. I've really enjoyed seeing parts of New England, although all the driving can become tedious at times. Thank god for amazing games like UNO and Scattegories.

Josh and I are officially dating. According to our LRW contracts, we're really not supposed to date...but whatevs, it's frowned upon but not entirely against the rules. He's a really great guy and I can see good potential. It's hard to believe that the two of us are in the same department, same emphasis, and only met recently. I'm really glad he's my roommate for the summer as well. Which leads me to another comment.

I'M REALLY GLAD I'M NOT ROOMING WITH JEREMY OR GLENN. Don't get me wrong, I like them (usually), but I'm not sure I could live with either. Also, Glenn needs to learn his lines for Argh, It's a Pirate's Life For Me because Courtney, Josh, and I are really fed up covering his ass when he misses like 5 billion lines a show. But hey...the three of us are really good at improvisation apparently since nobody ever notices.

In other news, besides the Little Red Wagon, my bro and his girlfriend apparently split. This is somewhat depressing because I liked the possibility that they would move out to Portsmouth so I could live with them. It's not a big deal I suppose and I suspect I won't mind living with Shawn, Steve, & Chris in the apartment. I'm going to be the youngest again though...I'm ALWAYS the youngest. It's such a pain in my ass. I could be excited about the whole 21 thing, but I really have no need or want to drink lately.

I've been kind of down the past couple days. A woman that was in Fiddler on the Roof with me that I adored was hit by a car and killed last week. It's really shocking to think she's no longer with us. She was 56 and filled with life. It's really made me think about life and how precious it is. Many prayers to Cathy's family and friends.

I saw Oliver! at Prescott Park the other evening. I was really excited because Kaitie and Cara were meeting Courtney, Josh, and I there. I adore Kaitie and Cara and I'm depressed that Kaitie will not be returning in the fall. The show was AWESOME and definitely one of my favorite performances that I have witnessed recently. Katie, Andrew, Ed, Nicole, Robin, & Seraphina did great! I'm quite sad that Katie will not be returning to UNH in the fall either. However, I believe I will try to get some vocal lessons out of her this summer.

I miss home. I really miss Jess and Sammie. I want Alyssa to come back to UNH. I want some consistancy in my life. I'm not depressed...I'm just sick of missing everyone. I wish I could somehow move the tectonic plates and border Durham/Portsmouth with Rutland...and Philadelphia too (cuz that's where Alyssa is going).

I need to start thinking about auditions in the fall. I've never really been one to prepare in advance...so I should try it for once and see what happens. I suck at auditioning so I'm sure it wouldn't hurt.

I hope I get in to Seussical in the fall. I think the director likes me. She called me today. I need to fix my crutch for the show. I already knew this...unfortunately I can't get in to the tool closet and we're never on campus when Mike is in his office.

I hate unstable schedule...poo on you LRW.

I like children. They say funny things. They can be annoying at times...but they are genuinely cute...except for motorbike boy, who Glenn, Courtney, Josh, and I hid from in the truck. Poor Jeremy... ACTUALLY... Nah, I don't really feel sorry for him, hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Being back home in Vermont with Josh was awesome. We went to the waterfall for lunch and saw RHS' Footloose. I hate the musical personally but I was impressed with the effort and time everyone put in to it. I was VERY proud of Becky!

I may have melanoma. I have to get a biopsy next time I go home. Unfortunately...I need to find out when I can do that.

I think I'm going to go see A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to the Forum with Stacey. I miss her dearly!

This was supposed to be a quick update...but many things popped in to my head...so now I shall leave you with quotes from Little Red Wagon...

GLENN: I used to be able to remember my lines really well in high school.
BARTLEY: Hey Glenn, what's green and smells bad when you light it?
GLENN: Uhh...
COURTNEY: I know!
BARTLEY: POT! So stop smoking it and you'll remember your lines.

"GOD DAMMIT!"

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH! PORK FRIED RICE!"

JOSH: What do you suppose those pirates did on those long nights at sea?
BARTLEY: Maybe they read...or played cards...or (hand gesture) something like that!

"Ling Ling know that safest place on plane is black box."

"Fucking Connecticut"

The end.

I'm coming home sometime in the near future...and I know the dates...but it's a surprise, heh heh.
Peace!
- Bartley

I got in to Little Red Wagon for this summer...unfortunately I will only be home May 13th thru May 28th this summer. :(
I miss everyone back home! I wish I had more time to come home and see you all!
With that said...I think I'm renting a campsite for my 19th birthday the weekend of May 19th thru May 21st. If anyone is interested, let me know! I don't plan to have a big raving party in the woods, so if you think it's going to be a big booze fest...then you probably won't want to come...but with that said...I never said there couldn't be a little there! HAHA
If anyone is game for some camping, then you should definitely come, even if you can only come for a night...or even a day at the lake!
I MAY ONLY BE HOME FOR THESE TWO WEEKS THIS SUMMER...SO YOU SHOULD GO, DAMMIT!
And! You should come see my tour. We'll be touring all over New England from June 13th thru August 11th! It really doesn't matter if you don't come...I still get paid regardless, but I want to see you all there!

AND ANYONE INVOLVED WITH SUMMER ENCORE. I THINK IT WOULD BE REALLY COOL IF SOMEONE IN RUTLAND BOOKED BOTH OF OUR TOURS FOR A MAD CHILDREN'S THEATRE DAY! PONDER IT!

Peace!

AND LEAVE ME A COMMENT...I WANT TO KNOW WHO READS THIS BULLSHIT! MAYBE I'LL UPDATE MORE IF PEOPLE ACTUALLY READ IT.

Your senior year in High School is supposed to be "the best year of your life." Let's see how much you remember. I know for some it might be hard for you to go back that far!

Year: 2005
1. Who was your best friend?
Meghan

2. Were you a party animal?
Rarely did I ever party in high school...besides innocent get-togethers.

6. What did you want to be while you were in High School, and what did you actually become?
I wanted to be a theatre teacher...still on that road as we speak.

I would like to begin by thanking Fiddler on the Roof for kicking my ass this weekend. I have never been so exhausted in my entire life! Our shows all went decently well. I went on as a partial understudy last night for the Innkeeper, which was interesting to say the least. Our audiences have been very receptive of the show and I'm becoming upset just knowing that soon everyone will be parting their own ways and a new show will go up on the stage. I really wish I had gotten in to Annie at the theatre...but then again...do I really fit any roles in that show?

I really miss Ryan. We were both very busy this past week and this upcoming week. I probably won't get another chance to see him until Sunday, which sucks. I can't wait until I hold him in my arms again. He has opened my heart to so much and I'm so happy that I can just relax and be myself for once.

I would like to thank Meg, Sam, Lex, and Kat for coming to see my show this past Thursday. It was really nice to see y'all, I always miss home! Hopefully my brother can make it sometime and my grandparents are coming soon, so yay!

Classes are going excellent this semester...yay!
